Reception at the Kent Farm
Jan. 12th, 2009 09:38 amIt's taken a full two days of preparation, not including all the planning and chaos that went into this in the weeks prior, but the Kent Farm is finally ready to hold Clark and Eirene's wedding reception. Or as Clark likes to call it, their "party." Reception sounds so formal.
The main barn has undergone a pretty impressive transition, nice enough that it will be the main place for people to mingle dance, should anyone want to. The farmhouse is also open, a roaring fire already started, and fresh coffee and muffins neatly placed on the counters and dining room table.
The dinner has been set up in a rented tent just out in one of the fields, fresh grass and flowers provided by the bride herself. Who also can't help but wander around making sure each table it decorated just so and, in Clark's opinion, avoiding having to put her shoes on until the last possible second.
Which should be anytime now.
