Kal-El is the son of Jor-El and Lara, and was born on the planet Krypton. Knowing their planet was headed for imminent destruction, Jor-El sent his infant son to Earth where he was taken in and raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent.

Clark Kent is the adopted son of Jonathan and Martha Kent, and was raised on a farm in Smallville, Kansas. His true origins are not public knowledge.

Appearance:
Clark is approximately 6'3", well built, with dark brown hair and green eyes and generally assumed to be rather good-looking. His attire tends toward jeans, work boots and plaid shirts. All hail the plaid.

Abilities:
Super strength, super speed, invulnerability (save kryptonite and magic), x-ray vision, heat vision, super hearing, and the relatively newly developed super breath. Please note these are generally used sparingly - or around people who know his secret - and usually only when he knows he won't get caught.
